Grok 4.5 remains on the models table I opened at docs.x.ai, with the same 500,000-token context band as Grok 4.6 and its own token prices. The “which model should I choose” note on that page points everyday chat and code at Grok 4.6, so I do not treat 4.5 as the default. I keep a page for it because the table still lists it as a current text model. If you are choosing today, read the live table — I will not freeze a retirement date that the docs did not show me.
